This April, we’ve been focused on refining our platform and developing new features to make domain registration and management smoother and more versatile. Here’s a rundown of what’s in progress:

🔍 Search V2: A Smarter Way to Find Domains

We’re putting the final touches on Search V2, a big step forward for our domain search experience. It’s faster, more intuitive, and uses AI to suggest onchain domains that match your needs. The system uses AI to suggest domains based on your input, often highlighting options you might not have thought of. We’ve also upgraded the backend to handle heavy traffic smoothly, so you’ll get reliable results even during busy times. Search V2 is launching soon, and we’re excited to see how it improves your hunt for the perfect domain on our platform.

 📦 Box Domains Launch drop.box

Our partners at Box domains have introduced drop.box, a platform that lets you register premium .box domains that become available again after they expire. Every day, new .box domains open up, giving you a chance to pick one that fits your project or onchain identity. The platform has tools to help you search for domains, keep track of ones you’re interested in, and register them quickly when they’re released. These .box domains, built with 3DNS tech, work for both on the regular web and work as websites and email, along with onchain for things like crypto wallets or dApps, so they’re useful for businesses, creators, or developers. ⛓️ Expanding to New Chains and Namespaces

As we continue to grow, we're excited to announce that we're finalizing several new namespaces, which will be available for registration in the near future. These namespaces are being built to provide users with a broader range of domain name options, allowing you to secure names that resonate with your projects, brands, or personal identities. In addition to introducing new namespaces, we're extending our reach beyond our current networks, Optimism and Base, to include other chains within the Superchain framework. This means you'll soon be able to register domains on a variety of networks, each offering unique features and benefits. 

By supporting multiple chains, we're ensuring that you have the flexibility to choose the network that best suits your needs, whether you're prioritizing speed, cost, or specific functionalities tied to a particular chain. Stay tuned for updates on the launch of these new namespaces and the specific chains we'll be supporting—we can't wait to see how you make use of these new opportunities.
