Before we start, ensure you’ve taken the initial steps to get involved:

• Download the Coinbase Wallet app for either Android or iOS.
• Access the “Explore” tab within the app and navigate to the quests section to find the quest titled “Tokenize Your First Domain On-Chain.”

Now, let’s dive into the steps to secure your onchain domain:

Step 1: Fund your wallet on Optimism

Fund your Coinbase Wallet with ETH on the Optimism network. You’ll need at least $20 of ETH or USDC to purchase a domain

Step 2: Sign into your 3DNS account

If you do not already have one, create a 3DNS account. When the “Signature Request” comes up, click “Sign”.

Step 3: Purchase domain

Select “Crypto” as your payment method and purchase domain with USDC or ETH. You must purchase it with crypto to complete the quest and earn the reward. Click “Checkout” again.

Step 4: Add your WHOIS contact information

Complete the WHOIS identification if you do not already have a profile. This information is legally requested of all domain purchasers.

Step 5: Complete domain purchase

Finalize the transaction to officially claim your domain onchain.
